Harvey Pratt German...apparently named after his paternal uncle, Pratt German, who was born near Prattsville, NY and was probably named after Zadock Pratt.
ReplyDeleteZadock has a wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zadock_Pratt
"Harvey and Lulu sold their farm before they moved to Topeka, sometime between 1925 and 1930."
ReplyDeleteAccording to the newspaper ad above, Harvey's farm sale was Wednesday, August 11. August 11 was a Wednesday in 1920, 1926 and not again until 1937. So it seems it was in 1926.
